Panattoni Europe starts BTS project in Warsaw region

Panattoni Europe is to build another facility for DSV Solutions. The 25,000-square-metre logistics centre will be erected in Pęcice, as part of Panattoni Park Janki II. The cornerstone ceremony initiating the project took place on 23 March, and completion of the investment is scheduled for August 2017.

US-controlled fund to acquire Polish office and retail portfolio

The Octava FIZAN fund is in the process of acquiring a portfolio of 11 office and retail assets in Poland, including Onyx in Kraków and Centrum Krakowska 61, Renaissance Tower and Eureka Park in Warsaw, from two BPH FIZ funds. Savills is advising the buyer on the transaction, which is expected to be finalized by the end of H1 2017. The parties did not reveal the value of the acquired assets, but the estimated value significantly exceeds €100 million.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland experts signal that 650,000 sqm of office space under construction and more than 1,000,000 sqm of additional pipeline projects constitute a vital argument for tenants either searching for new locations or planning to renegotiate their leases.

Regional cities grow strongly in Poland

900,000 sqm of office space was delivered to market in Poland in 2016 – the market's best ever result. Furthermore, demand was 1.34 million sqm. Kraków and Wrocław remain the leaders among office markets outside Warsaw, while an excellent result was recorded by Łódź.JLL summarised 2016 on the office market in both Warsaw and the other eight major cities in Poland.

New leases

  • Thinslices, a tech company incorporated in Iași, with operations in Berlin, Lisbon and London, has relocated its HQ in Iulius-based UBC 2 office building. The new office spans an area of around 500 sqm.
  • MLP Group has signed a lease agreement with Langowski Logistics, a logistics operator specializing in international container transport. The company will occupy over 5,600 square meters of space in the MLP Pruszków II complex. The tenant was supported in concluding the agreement by Newmark Polska.
  • Nest Leasing has joined the group of tenants of the Teal office building in the Off Piotrkowska Center complex in Łódź. The company will occupy nearly 250 sqm of space.

New appointments

  • Dom Development has announced changes to its Management Board. Monika Dobosz will become a Member and Vice-president of the Management Board. In this position, she will replace Leszek Stankiewicz, who has submitted a declaration of resignation from this position. Dobosz will be responsible for the company's finances.
  • Dariusz Blocher has resigned from the position of chair of Unibep. The supervisory board has appointed Andrzej Sterczyński as president of the company from January 1st, 2025.
  • Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska has resigned from her position as a member of the Supervisory Board and chair of the Audit Committee of Ghelamco Invest. The position of member of Ghelamco's Supervisory Board will be filled by Lidia Jabłonowska-Luby. An existing member of the Audit Committee, Jarosław Myjak, was also appointed to act as chairman of the Audit Committee.
