7R has finalized the sale of the 7R City Flex Łódź I warehouse located in Łódź, Poland to SELP (Segro European Logistics Partnership). This is the third 7R project, following 7R City Flex Łódź II and 7R Park Wrocław, to join the Polish portfolio managed by Segro.

Last year brought yet another record on the Polish investment market. Throughout 2019, the total transaction volume amounted to €7.8 billion which is higher 2018’s figure of €7.2 billion). Thus, Poland has once again proved that it is an attractive and increasingly more liquid market, according to Avison Young’s latest investment market report.

At the end of 2019, Poland’s total industrial stock topped 18.6 million sqm, with warehouse supply hitting a record high of 2.72 million sqm in the past 12 months. Compared to the previous year, warehouse space availability improved significantly on most of the nation’s regional markets. Cushman & Wakefield presents a summary of the Polish industrial market.

CPI Property Group announced the acquisition of the Green Corner A office building in Warsaw.  The property was acquired from DWS Group, one of the world's largest asset managers and a significant investor in commercial real estate in the CEE region.

7R is the first warehouse developer in Poland to create an innovative eco-friendly warehouse – 7R Green. The company's main goal is to provide facilities in which ecological solutions will help minimize their impact on the natural environment. Construction of the first warehouse, designed in keeping with the new green concept, will start in the first half of the year.

Segro plc, in its role as venture advisor to the Segro European Logistics Partnership (SELP), has acquired Panattoni City Logistics Wrocław I - two buildings with a total area of 38,000 sqm. Advisors from JLL represented Segro within the transaction.

The Neopark office complex, one of the flagship investments of Yareal Polska, is now fully leased, with companies such as Play, Inpost, New Work, Olympus and Mitsubishi opening their offices in the buildings’ 24,000 sqm of space. Experts from JLL were responsible for the commercialization of the project.

Focus Estate Fund has received refinancing from BNP Paribas Bank Polska for its Polish portfolio of retail assets, shopping centres Galeria Sandomierz (Sandomierz) and Galeria Awangarda (Bartoszyce) with a total area of more than 10,000 square meters.

Cushman & Wakefield consolidate its Warsaw headquarters at The Warsaw HUB in the city’s new business centre. The global commercial real estate services company will occupy nearly 2,500 sqm of office space in the skyscraper.

Almost 800,000 sqm of office space is currently under construction in Warsaw of which approx. 55% will be delivered in 2020, according to the latest Savills research. The capital city of Poland continues to be a big construction site, mostly due to very strong demand for the office space with its record-high levels recorded in 2019.
