The Penta Group is changing its approach to financing its business – it is preparing new investment funds to offer investors a stake in Penta projects, reports Newstream.cz.

This strategy aims to accelerate the growth of Penta's long-term brands, such as Dr.Max, Penta Hospitals, Penta Real Estate and Fortuna, either in current markets or during expansion into other countries.

Details on the functioning of the funds will be presented in the second half of the year. The group was strengthened by Tomáš Kálal, who will manage all key activities related to the funds and will be the executive director of the new investment company, in the case of receiving a license from the CNB.

Kálal has extensive experience in the environment of investments and capital markets. He has worked at Conseq Investment Management for ten years, most recently as Director of Investment Banking. In the past, he also worked for Patria Direct or Komerční Banka. He is a graduate of the Prague University of Economics, majoring in international business with a secondary specialisation in financial and capital markets. He also studied at EM Lyon University.
