Penta Real Estate has submitted documents for the environmental impact assessment (EIA) to the authorities for an apartment building in the Chalupkova project in the Mlynské nivy location in Bratislava.
The project starts its first residential stage, bringing 150 apartments. The first residential building is currently in the process of completing the architectural study. The final form will be known within a few months. The shorter side facing Chalupkova ulica reaches 15 above-ground floors, while the longer side recedes towards the inner park, creating space for green terraces. Commercial premises, with an area of 800 sqm, will be located on the ground floor of the building with expected high pedestrian traffic and will serve the residents of the building as well as the wider public. The plan is considering the operation of a restaurant or bakery.
The building will have a vegetated roof, which, together with the retention tank in the basement, will retain rainwater for its subsequent use for irrigation. Between the residential building and the office building, which is currently under construction, a green square will be created with paved areas and benches for sitting.
The start of sales of the first apartments is expected at the beginning of 2026. Construction will begin after obtaining all the necessary permits, with an expected start in the first half of 2026.
