Panattoni has reached another milestone in the development of Wrocław South Logistics Hub. As a result of a new contract, one of its current tenants – a leading e-commerce operator – is to increase the size of its leased space by an additional 125,000 sqm. After the planned expansion, the tenant will occupy 180,000 sqm, or 70 pct of the park’s eventual total area.
Under a new contract, the tenant has leased Hall B in Wrocław South Logistics Hub, which has an area of around 91,000 sqm, and from November is to also take up Hall C with an area of 34,000 sqm. By doing this, the tenant is increasing the size of its presence from 55,000 sqm to almost 180,000 sqm. The new building is to be equipped with advanced automated systems to facilitate warehousing for the needs of e-commerce. The building is also to undergo BREEAM environmental certification for a rating of Excellent.
“Our tenant’s expansion in Wrocław South Logistics Hub proves that the Lower Silesian region holds a strong position in Europe as a centre for logistics. We are proud that we can support the growth of the largest global brands by providing them with space that not only meets the highest standards for technology and the environment but also provides them with a strategic location. For us, this contract confirms that our current investment strategy perfectly caters to the needs of the largest players in this market”, says Damian Kowalczyk, the Development Director at Panattoni.
Wrocław South Logistics Hub is situated in Magnice, just 15 km from the centre of Wrocław, next to key roads that include the S8 expressway and the A4 motorway. This makes it possible not only to provide effective distribution services across Poland but also closer to Europe’s western borders. Thanks to the strategic location, tenants can count on being able to perform deliveries up to the Czech and German borders in less than two hours.
