Panattoni has fully commercialised City Logistics Kraków Airport II, its latest project in Małopolska. A second tenant has been found for the development completed in July this year and is to take up 20,050 sqm.

City Logistics Kraków Airport II is a logistics park in the vicinity of Kraków International Airport in Balice, which is also near to the A4 motorway providing easy access to other key cities in the region as well as the rest of the country. The first tenant, Allegro, has already begun operating from the centre. The company uses the modern warehousing space to sort parcels for its Allegro One Box automated parcel lockers. Now the rest of the building is to be occupied by an international FMCG company.

“We are pleased that our development in Kraków has raised such high interest among businesses. We launched construction on City Logistics Kraków Airport II speculatively so commercialising the centre that quickly demonstrates how attractive what we offer is and how well it meets the market’s expectations,” says Filip Noworól, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni. “The neighbourhood of the extended cargo terminal and the superb connections make this the ideal location for a fast-growing firm.”

City Logistics Kraków Airport II not only combines a strategic location but also advanced environmentally-friendly solutions. The centre is to undergo BREEAM certification for a rating of Excellent and its advanced technology will allow annual requirements for non-renewable primary energy sources to be lowered by more than 10%. The reinforced roofs will allow for the installation of solar panels while the low-emission steel and the above-requirement wall insulation follow sustainable development standards. The logistics park has been surrounded by greenery with the planting of native species trees, flower meadows and landscaped lawns.
