P3 Logistic Parks has delivered a new built-to-suit warehouse at P3 Piotrków Park for InPost, providing an additional 38,404 sqm of space.
InPost is a provider of logistics services, and the first company in Poland to create a network of Parcel Lockers, which are self-service parcel dispatch and collection points. InPost already occupies warehouses in P3 Piotrków with a total area of almost 73,000 sqm. Once P3 completes the new facility, InPost will consolidate its position as the largest tenant at the park, with more than 111,000 sqm at its disposal.
Iwona Sadowska, Head of Leasing, P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, said: “We are tenant-oriented, not only in negotiating agreements and implementing investments, but also with our commitment to long-term cooperation. The fact that companies such as InPost turn to us when they need new space with which to develop their businesses is the best evidence that P3’s customer service focus is the right approach. I am delighted we have once again been able to respond to the expectations of a long-standing partner, and further strengthen our cooperation with this new project.”
The new facility which P3 has developed for InPost will comprise 36,076 sqm of warehouse space and nearly 2,400 sqm of office. The warehouse will be BREEAM-certified as “Excellent” for sustainability. It features a number of environmentally friendly solutions such as energy-efficient LED lighting with a DALI automatic control system, infrared-activated taps in the bathrooms, and motion-activated lighting. PIR core panels have been used in construction to provide better insulation, and a reinforced roof enables the installation of photovoltaic (solar) panels.
The new building has been equipped with grey water recovery systems, and astronomical time switches to automatically adjust the outdoor lighting for the time of day. Two electric vehicle charging stations and covered bicycle shelters have been installed. In addition, trees and shrubs have been planted around the facility to increase biodiversity and eliminate the need for artificial irrigation.
Located in Wola Bykowska, near Piotrków Trybunalski, P3 Piotrków Park currently comprises seven warehouses with a total area of 270,000 sqm and is one of the largest warehouse parks in central Poland. Its location at the intersection of the A1 and S8 motorways provides convenient access to Warsaw and other Polish cities, allowing for efficient distribution of goods nationwide.
