P3 Logistic Parks and Orlen have signed a lease agreement for nearly 24,000 sqm of warehouse space at P3 Piotrków Park, in Poland.
The new warehouse for the Orlen Group will serve as a supply centre for its fuel stations, and have a clear height of 12 m, a reinforced floor with a load-bearing capacity of 7.5 tonnes, and fire resistance of over 4,000 MJ. It will be constructed with PIR core panels for more effective insulation, and a reinforced roof structure which will allow the installation of photovoltaic (solar) panels.
Inside, the building will be equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting with a Dali automatic control system, motion sensors controlling the lighting in the bathrooms, and infrared sensor-operated washbasin taps. Outside at the front of the facility, there will be bicycle parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations. The warehouse will be BREEAM certified as “Excellent” for sustainability.
Bartłomiej Hofman, Managing Director, P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, said: “P3 Piotrków is one of our flagship projects, which has been in our portfolio since almost the start of our operations in Poland. Over the years, it has attracted many long-standing tenants because it’s a winning choice for new tenants. With its strategic location in central Poland, this P3 park offers convenient road connections, and modern, flexible warehouse solutions that allow us to adapt to the dynamically changing needs of the market and our customers.”
P3 Piotrków is one of the largest warehouse parks in central Poland, with a total area of nearly 470,000 sqm. Located in Wola Bykowska, near Piotrków Trybunalski, at the intersection of the A1 and S8 motorways, the park allows efficient distribution across the country. P3 owns enough land to expand the park by an additional 130,000 sqm of leasable space.
