The developer WOAL, where JTRE and Cresco Real Estate are partners, has been preparing the concept of the development of the former Culture and Recreation Park in Bratislava for almost 10 years. For its part, Cresco has already received a valid decision on the location of the building earlier in 2024. JTRE, based on the announcement on the official board, is starting the proceedings for its parts now, reports YIMBA.sk.
The space is divided into three parts - CPR A, CPR B and CPR C. The first one is developed by Cresco Real Estate, which designed a mixed-use and residential complex of four buildings perpendicular to the promenade with a street wing. JTRE develops Part B and C. CPR-B is the originally planned planetarium, which will not be realised, but Part C is progressing in preparation.
JTRE is asking for a key decision for the development, consisting of a mixed-use building, a few residential buildings and an office building. In addition, public spaces and the square, where the planetarium was originally supposed to be located, will be significantly modified. The five buildings will be based on a common three-floor underground garage with 733 parking spaces and the necessary infrastructure. Instead of the planetarium, a green square will be created. The developer organised an architectural competition. The winning proposal comes from the studio Between. The space named after Count Aeneo Lanfranconi will serve as a cooling point in the urban development.
