Torus Logistics and BTV announced the successful completion of Gdynia City Logistics, a logistics and office hub located on Północna Street in Gdynia. The facility, featuring approx. 21,650 sqm of warehouse space and 1,500 sqm of modern offices, is now fully operational.

The recently completed facility has already secured tenants from diverse industries. Among them is Cosentino, a global manufacturer of architectural and design surfaces.

In addition, Torus recently signed a lease agreement with another tenant, this time a medical technology company with 30 years of experience in biotechnology and industrial hydroponics.

Tomasz Puch, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at BTV, remarked: "The completion of Gdynia City Logistics is a reflection of our commitment to sustainable, innovative design in logistics. Welcoming tenants from industries ranging from architecture to advanced technologies reinforces the facility's strategic appeal and its potential as a hub for growth."

Przemysław Ryś, Torus CEO, commented: “What sets Gdynia City Logistics apart is its strategic location, only 5km away from the Port of Gdynia, and 9 km away from the city centre, respectively, making the investment a unique communication hub. Another benefit can be found in the proximity of the infrastructural projects that enhance related logistic opportunities, such as the Red Route (Droga Czerwona) which is to offer a direct connection between the Port of Gdynia and the network of state roads, including both the S6, and the Northern Ringroad of the Tricity Agglomeration as well. One should also appreciate a smooth course of the construction process, with no inconveniences caused to the surroundings. I believe it is a super facility, the second facility of this nature in the Torus history, and certainly not the last one.”

Located just 5 km from the Port of Gdynia and 9 km from the city centre, the development offers good connectivity. Proximity to infrastructure projects such as the Red Road and Northern Bypass of the Tri-City Agglomeration further enhances its logistical advantages.

The facility emphasizes sustainability through its incorporation of photovoltaic panels, LED lighting, heat pumps, and the advanced Percee® energy management system, which reduces energy consumption by up to 40%. Rhe developer intends to have the centre certified with a BREEAM certificate with a rating of ‘Excellent’.
