Immofinanz acquires eight retail parks in SEE

Immofinanz is driving the expansion of its Stop Shop retail park brand and has now purchased eight retail parks in Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia. The purchase price totals approximately €90.5 million. The newly acquired properties are fully rented and generate an annual rental income of roughly €7.2 million, which represents a gross return of 8.0%. These transactions increase Immofinanz’s Stop Shop portfolio to 80 locations in nine countries with over 567,000 sqm of rentable space and a carrying amount of approx. €800 million. Further acquisitions are currently under evaluation, and two Stop Shops in Poland and Serbia are now in the active development phase.

Panattoni Europe to build hi-tech industrial zone in Pilsen

Panattoni Europe plans to transform the former Škoda Plzeň complex in the Borské terasy area in Pilsen into a modern technological centre. The extensive 28-hectare brownfield is currently empty, but it has great infrastructure and is well connected to the surrounding industrial plants. Panattoni Europe’s plans are in line with the current development strategy of the city of Pilsen and are currently undergoing an EIA environmental impact assessment. The total amount of investment is estimated at more than €77 million (CZK 2 billion).

New leases

  • Primark has opened a shop in Bydgoszcz. This is Primark's seventh location in Poland and the first in the north of the country. Primark in Bydgoszcz is operating in the Zielone Arkady shopping centre. The chain's new shop occupies 3,200 sqm of retail space and is located on two floors.
  • Transporeon, an international logistics company, part of the Trimble Group, has extended its lease agreement in the Porto Office A office building in Kraków, where it occupies over 1,900 square meters.
  • The gastronomic offer of the BIG Łubna retail park near Warsaw has expanded with the Sphinx restaurant. The premises, with an area of ​​almost 400 sqm, were opened in October.

New appointments

  • Dariusz Blocher has resigned from the position of chair of Unibep. The supervisory board has appointed Andrzej Sterczyński as president of the company from January 1st, 2025.
  • Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska has resigned from her position as a member of the Supervisory Board and chair of the Audit Committee of Ghelamco Invest. The position of member of Ghelamco's Supervisory Board will be filled by Lidia Jabłonowska-Luby. An existing member of the Audit Committee, Jarosław Myjak, was also appointed to act as chairman of the Audit Committee.
  • MLP Group is from now on working with a smaller board of directors. Monika Dobosz has resigned from her position. She had served on the company's board since July 2022, when she was appointed to the board together with Agnieszka Góźdź.
