Immofinanz Group posted a net profit of €50.9 million in the first nine months of 2024, recovering from a loss of €105.9 million in the same period of last year, over higher rental income and additional sales of assets.

Industrial developer CTP has handed over a new 100,000 sqm logistics centre in Hungary to British retailer Tesco.

The first stage of the new Vydrica district in the centre of Bratislava has received a valid building use approval decision. The developer of the project is Vydrica Development, a joint venture of Vydrica, a.s. and Lucron's parent company, Luxembourg's Ikopart. The manager of the Vydrica project is the development company Lucron.

Panattoni will begin construction of a new park in the Silesian Voivodeship in December – Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V. After nine months of this year, the Echo Investment Group has strengthened its position in key sectors of the Polish real estate market. It has also entered the private student housing segment, starting the construction of two projects. The total value of the Group's assets at the end of September amounted to PLN 6.6 billion (ca. €1.5 billion), while cash reserves exceeded PLN 469 million (ca. €107.5 million). In November, Echo signed a conditional sale agreement for the React office building in Łódź.

CA Immo recorded a 4% increase in rental income to €179.1 million in the first nine months of 2024 versus 2023 despite the sale of non-strategic properties, while it posted a net loss of €33.4 million compared with a profit of €61.1 million in the same period of last year.

Real estate financing has been facing various challenges including the need for more bank and debt fund participation, better understanding and collaboration between Eastern and Western Europe, and last but not least exploring opportunities in new real estate sectors, such as data centres, and developing financing solutions for these emerging asset classes. Outlooks and solutions have been discussed at the financing panel of CEE Property Forum 2024 in Vienna.

In addition to the new acquisition in Brno, YIT is also intensively focusing on Kladno, where it is starting its first-ever regional construction by the end of this year.
