Tibor Pollák graduated from the Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Berlin in 1995 with a degree in economics. He started his career in Vienna at Roland Berger & Partner, then he joined the company’s Budapest office. Between 1999 and 2000 he worked for PowerGen International, then between 2000 and 2008 he fulfilled the position of Deputy Director of Construction and Infrastructure Operations at Westel (and later at Magyar Telekom). During this period, he was responsible for constructing and operating the company’s mobile network infrastructure. In 2008, he was promoted to the Director of Infrastructure Services. Later his responsibilities have been expanded by the company's car fleet management. In the past 10 years, he has been managing the company’s total, more than half a million square meters large real estate portfolio (that contains cc. 12000 facilities). Also, he led Telekom’s New HQ project; as part of that, the company moved its 4500 employees to the country's largest building that was built in BTS construction.
