He holds an MSc. in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest. 2005-2016 he worked as Analyst and Chief Economist at UniCredit Group in Budapest and (2011-2012) as Strategic Analyst for the CEE region at Bank Austria in Vienna. 2016-2020 he has headed the Macroprudential Analysis Department at the National Bank of Hungary, responsible for the publications of MNB's Financial Stability and real estate markets. Since June 2020, he has been Head of the Financial System Analysis Directorate, which, in addition to the above-mentioned topics, is responsible for the formulation of the MNB's macroprudential policy and for applied research and stress testing. He is a frequent speaker at domestic and international conferences, author and co-author of several technical papers, and articles mainly on financial stability, banking competitiveness, lending and real estate market.
