Peter Parson joined CBRE in 1975. After a brief period in Project Management, he joined the Valuation & Advisory Services team (as it is now known) in 1977. Until 2015, he provided a wide range of valuation advice to institutions, property companies, pension funds, banks and private individuals. Since 2015, he has been responsible for training and auditing CBRE’s valuation teams throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Peter has an extensive involvement with the RICS, having been a member of The Editorial Board of the RICS Valuation – Professional Standards (the ‘Red Book’) since the Board’s inception in 2002, and Chairman since 2009 – in addition to being a member of the RICS Global Valuations Standard Board.
