Marián Zachar is a sustainability and urban strategy expert, currently shaping Bratislava’s decarbonization strategy at the city's Climate Office. Previously, he co-founded and led the Slovak branch of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (DofE), making it one of Europe’s fastest-growing programs. He also spearheaded the Net Zero Carbon Strategy at HB Reavis Group, leading to its commitment to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). With experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Marián is dedicated to driving climate action for a more resilient future.
