Mr Klaturov joined Revetas in 2012 as General Counsel. In January 2020 he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. Mr Klaturov has over 14 years of experience in acquisitions/disposals, debt and equity financing, corporate (re-) structuring and regulatory matters. Mr Klaturov was involved in the establishment of Revetas since its inception. His main focus has been the establishment and closing of all Revetas Funds, acquisitions and disposals of assets, bank financings as well as the establishment and management of the Revetas office in Vienna. Prior to joining Revetas, Mr Klaturov worked in two of the leading law firms in Austria — Schoenherr and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He worked as a banking and M&A lawyer and has been involved in numerous high profile transactions in CEE and the rest of Europe. He has advised on a number of cross-border secured and unsecured financial transactions involving either issuance of notes or lines of credit on the borrower’s or bank’s side, including cross-border debt-restructuring as well as securitisation of portfolio loans and lease receivables. Mr Klaturov holds a Master's in law degree from the University of Vienna (Magister iuris) and from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. (LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation). He also holds a law degree from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Mr Klaturov is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and Austria. Originally from Bulgaria, Mr Klaturov is fluent in German and English, also has knowledge of Russian and is a native Bulgarian speaker.
