Katarína Gumanova holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Bristol and a postgraduate degree with Distinction from the University of St Andrews. During her studies, Katarina undertook a range of economic research and econometric modelling, in particular estimating the impact of EU Cohesion Policy on economic growth in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Before joining Slovenská Sporiteľňa, she worked in London for London Economics research consultancy – working on projects for the British government as well as some private sector clients.
