Manager and project finance professional with over 20 years of experience in project structuring, project financing, project development and negotiation of project finance transactions as lead arranger, lender and agent. A lawyer by profession, Gabriela started working for prestigious law firms in Mexico and as general counsel for a developer in Cancun for a project comprising 380 ha of residential condominiums, several hotels, golf courses and a marina. After moving to Serbia in 2005, she was part of the team at UniCredit bank Serbia which started project financing in Serbia and was the head of the project finance RE unit for 14 years. Currently, Gabriela is the head of RE project finance in NLB Komercijalna Banka a.d. where she has implemented new PF procedures and has helped position the bank as a leader in this area. The first office business park in Serbia “Airport City”, prime residential complexes like Central Garden, Wellport, and Galens, shopping malls including USCE, and retail park “Rakovica BIG”, renamed hotels such as as Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn as well as the successful refinancing of the Sava Center congress centre are some of the projects in Gabriela’s portfolio.
