Dubravka Nègre has been heading EIB’s Regional Representation for the Western Balkans since September 2016. The EIB, the largest international financial institution in the world, is one of the largest financiers in the Western Balkans with €11 billion invested so far, of which € 5.5 billion in Serbia. Between 2004 and 2013, Nègre was in charge of financing projects in the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as in Croatia and Slovenia. Prior to that, she led public-private partnership projects in Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. For the public-private partnership project in Croatia, the construction of a new airport terminal in Zagreb, she received two prestigious professional awards. She was a guest lecturer for Master’s studies at the UCL in London, the University of Donja Gorica in Montenegro and at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. Before her career at the EIB, she worked in the media for CNN International. She speaks Serbian, English, Italian and French. She is married with four children.
