Dan Bucșa is Chief CEE Economist at UniCredit Bank AG in London. He joined the bank in September 2012, transferring from UniCredit Bank Romania where he was the chief economist. Before joining the private sector, Dan taught at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and worked in the Macroeconomic Modelling and Forecasting Department of the National Bank of Romania, where he was involved in developing the forecasting framework used in inflation targeting. Dan holds a PhD in Macroeconomics and an MSc in Finance from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies
