Ciprian Stanescu is President & CEO of Social Innovation Solutions (SIS), an organisation that aims to empower individuals and organisations to understand future transformations and to develop sustainable tech, policy, and entrepreneurial solutions. SIS runs a variety of educational programs, business competitions like Future Makers, Academia de Sustenabilitate, and Transformator; and conversation platforms like Future Summit, Climate Change Summit, and Sustainable Futures. Ciprian also developed Solutions., a company that offers customised sustainability, foresight, and trend reports as well as organisational transformation programs to the business ecosystem in Romania. Ciprian worked 12 years for global organisations like Ashoka and the Aspen Institute, is a Global Shaper Alumni of the World Economic Forum, and is a Board Member of Rethink Romania. He teaches sustainability, ESG, and trend-watching at The Entrepreneurship Academy in Bucharest and has recently completed an executive program at the Cambridge Business School in Circular Economy & Sustainability. He holds an MA in Political Science from Central European University.
