As a certified physicist, he began his career at General Electric Lighting as a development engineer, first in Budapest and then in the United States. He holds 3 relevant patents in the field of light sources. In 1997, he signed a contract with Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft., where he was first responsible for logistics and then for procurement and trade. Since 2003, he has been Central and Eastern European purchasing manager, and since 2006, he has been the purchasing vice president of the Knorr-Bremse Commercial Vehicle Division in Munich. Since 2010, he has been the operating director and then managing director of Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft., and is credited with the construction of the "New Factory and Test Center", handed over in March 2014. In 2016, he was awarded the Hungarian Economy Award for his exemplary activities for the development of the Hungarian economy, and in 2019, he was awarded the civilian section of the Knight's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit for the development of the economy of Bács-Kiskun county, as well as for the decades-long, highly successful service to the expansion of the company's range of suppliers in recognition of his leadership activities.
