Ann became RICS President on 1 January 2023. She acts as a key ambassador responsible for driving thought leadership across the profession, helping to deliver RICS’ goal of creating a positive social impact in the built environment. Alongside her RICS role, Ann is both a licensed architect and real estate broker based in Los Angeles, California and brings over 25 years' experience of professional leadership to her role. In 1995, she established Gray Real Estate Advisors providing consulting services to investors, property owners and attorneys to optimise values of complex properties. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in nearly a billion dollars in high-quality commercial and institutional development. Recent clients include Invesco, Citibank and the Episcopal Diocese of Southern California. Ann previously directed corporate real estate at Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, where she oversaw property acquisition, master planning and the design of corporate and production facilities. During her tenure, the studio underwent technical upgrades, launched historic preservation strategies, and initiated sustainability standards. Prior to Viacom, Ann was VP of Development at Indivest, a private commercial developer. Ann holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Architecture - both from UCLA.
