Andrei Svoronos is a Principal Banker at EBRD covering inter alia the Property & Tourism sector. He started his professional career in the office brokerage unit of one of the leading international real-estate consulting firms, before shifting to a corporate banking path that now spans almost 20 years. Andrei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies and is a graduate of the Banking and Financial Management Faculty of Piraeus University. At EBRD, he participated in a number of prominent transactions with local and regional real—estate players that included a plethora of financing instruments ranging from senior bilateral loans to bond issuances and equity investments. The EBRD is a major institutional investor in Romania. To date, it has invested more than €10 billion in almost 500 projects in the country.
