Alexandra Floricică is Head of Sustainable Development at ProCredit Bank Romania, a development-oriented digital commercial bank for SMEs. Having graduated in legal sciences at the University of Bucharest, Alexandra started her career at ProCredit Bank in 2017, where she held various roles in the Credit Risk & Risk Management departments. In 2023, she graduated from the ProCredit Management Academy in Germany, and starting from October 2023 she is a student of the Pan-Executive MBA program, University of York & University of Strasbourg. Currently, Alexandra leads the Sustainable Development Department within ProCredit Bank, a strategic area for the institution operating as a green bank that prioritizes 3 important pillars: financial, environmental and social. ProCredit has been a pioneer in offering green loans and sustainable development solutions since 2014. Currently, more than 20% of the SME loan portfolio is represented by green loans. The funds went to projects from various sectors, with investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture.
