Developer YIT has launched the construction and sale of the new Sija Kamýk project in Prague 12. The development of the project is revitalizing the former brownfield used as a building site and later as office buildings in the Praha-Kamýk district.
The apartment building in the shape of the letter "L", with 2 underground and 10 above-ground floors (with the last receding), is dominated by a distinctive corner along the main street accented with balconies. The new building will offer 122 units with sizes from 30 to 116 sqm and also four commercial spaces. Most apartments have balconies, terraces or front gardens. For some, preparation for front window blinds is expected, and for most, triple-glazed windows. Recuperation units will be installed in selected apartments. The inner block will be accessible only to residents.
The building design brief includes retention tanks, energy-saving LED lights, photovoltaic panels, an outdoor fast-charging station for electric cars and preparation for a self-service delivery box for delivery services. Recycled concrete will be partially used during construction, where natural aggregate is replaced by crushed mixed demolition waste. The project completion is expected at the end of 2025, so new residents could move in in the spring of 2026.
