As part of an office development project by Wing, the Ligeti Auditorium will undergo a complete renovation while preserving its historical heritage, according to the company's LinkedIn page.

The congress hall of the former MÉMOSZ headquarters, completed in 1950, has been out of use for the past 30 years and its condition has been constantly deteriorating due to natural influences. According to the plans, the renovated Liget Center and Auditorium will function as the new headquarters of RTL Hungary.

During the complete renovation, which is expected to be completed in 2024, the buffet of the former congress centre will also be converted into a cafe. The main contractor of the project is WOKRUP, a division of the FITOUT Company Group, while the main architectural designer is TIBA.
