by Property Forum | Retail

The former EuroCenter shopping centre, currently being rebuilt by Wing, will be renamed GOBUDA Mall after the renovation. The building will re-open in the spring of 2022 according to plans.

Wing began renovation of its EuroCenter mall in Óbuda in the spring of 2021. The occupancy rate of the mall is currently nearly 70%. On top of the architectural facelift, the facility will also expand its range of services and stores: in addition to the existing FMCG and non-food anchor stores, the new version will offer gastronomy stores, catering businesses, and international multi and mono brands, as well as a rebuilt movie theatre and a rooftop garden. A 2,000 sqm green park including a playground will be created on the rooftop.

The GOBUDA MAll will fully comply with the Access4you accessibility framework. All interior spaces and restrooms will be accessible, and the parking levels will also be rebuilt with the disabled, handicapped, and those arriving with prams in mind. In line with the pandemic situation, the building will also be equipped with disinfection solutions and contactless functions.
