Bulgarian retail group Videolux Holding has opened a retail park in the city of Pernik following an investment of some €20.45 million, the company announced in a press release,
Holiday Park, the largest retail park in southwestern Bulgaria, spreads over 23,000 sqm and has 16 stores offering housewares and leisure goods. More than 300 new jobs have been created at the facility.
Videolux Holding is the parent company of the DIY retail chain Praktiker and the consumer electronics store network Technopolis. The retail group plans to open new retail parks in the cities of Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora, and Haskovo, all of them in southern Bulgaria, by the end of 2023.
Last month, Videolux Holding started construction of a new Praktiker store in Sofia's western district of Krasno Selo, which is the first store in a planned new Holiday Park retail facility.
