In New Belgrade, on a plot of land about 4 kilometres from the city centre, Czech developer UDI Group has completed the first of 11-floor apartment buildings with 269 apartments. It is undergoing building use approval now with the new owners moving in in August and September.
480 high-end apartments are in the project budgeted at CZK 2.18 billion (€86.5 million). The development also includes 39 retail units on the ground floor and almost 650 underground parking spaces. The project has been designed by the local architectural studio ZAP on a 9,700 sqm plot. The general contractor is the local construction company Penta Ge.Co.
"Serbia is the largest foreign market for us. We are planning three residential projects here, including a new district, Duga, worth CZK 14 billion (€556 million). Besides apartments we will build also offices and a hotel here," explained Marcela Fialková, Strategy Director at UDI Group. "The Lastavice project is the first that UDI Group implemented in Serbia, setting our standards on the real estate market," said Vladimír Djurdjevič, Director at UDI for Serbia.
In addition to Serbia and the Czech Republic, the Czech developer UDI Group also operates in Hungary, Poland and Latin America. It is currently implementing or preparing 21 projects, with an expected development profit of more than CZK 62 billion (€2.5 billion).
