Square 7 Properties and Mitiska REIM have inaugurated Pitești Shopping Park, a new shopping center located in the northern area of Pitești, following an investment of €19 million.
Real estate investment group M Core has launched a strategic venture with Square 7 Properties for the management of 25 retail parks in Romania that it purchased at the end of last year.
Square 7 Properties and Belgian investment fund Mitiska REIM will open this week Giurgiu Shopping Park, which has a leasable area of 7,000 sqm. The general contractor of the project was Austrian construction firm Strabag.
The Slatina Shopping Park, located in Southern Romania, has reached a total commercial area of 8,700 sqm following an extension completed by Square 7 Properties and Mitiska REIM investment fund.
Around 100,000 sqm of new retail spaces should be completed during 2022 in Romania, of which more than 80% are located in retail parks, according to a report by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
The tenants of Galeria Panorama in Poznań are being joined by the Tedi brand. The shop occupies an area of 820 sqm.
SEGRO has extended the lease agreement with CAT LC Polska at SEGRO Park Warsaw, Ożarów. The logistics operator's total area in this location amounts to more than 21,400 sqm, spread across three buildings.
Sphinx - a restaurant chain offering Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine - has opened its 250 sqm unit in a new food court building constructed in the BIG Lubin retail park (southwestern Poland).

Hungarian construction player Óbuda Group has announced the appointment of two new Deputy CEOs. Gábor Horváth will lead the project management division, while Ottó Vörös will oversee operations. Horváth brings 35 years of experience in the construction industry, while Vörös has over two decades of management and financial experience in real estate management.
