The construction works for phase one of The Ivy, Speedwell’s residential project located in Băneasa, Bucharest, are ready to start as the developer has recently signed a contract with BTDConstruct & Ambient as General Contractor. The first phase of the ensemble comprises two buildings with 228 apartments, with the first building planned to be delivered in June 2022.

The Q3 2020 property investment volume for Romania is estimated at €408 million, a value approximately 68% higher than the one registered in the same period in 2019. Real estate developer Hagag Development Europe extends its collaboration with Global Vision. In addition to the property management of the developer’s office building H Victoriei 109, Global Vision will provide property management services for the residential project H Pipera Lake.

One United Properties will develop a residential project in the Modrogan area, near Kiseleff Park and Aviatorilor Boulevard, a historic location within Bucharest.  

Immofinanz has sold another 3 ha plot of the former IUS industrial platform in Brașov, to an undisclosed real estate developer. The price is estimated at around €7 million, according to economica.net.

Belgian real estate developer Liebrecht & wooD has launched the Liziera de Lac residential project near Lake Tatarului, located in Calarasi county, southeast of Bucharest. The first residents will be able to move in Q4 2021.

Businessman Dan Șucu has sold the logistics centre of furniture and decoration retailer Mobexpert, located near Bucharest, to developer CTP in a "sale-and-leaseback" transaction valued at about €14 million, profit.ro reports. Mobexpert will remain the long-term tenant of the building.

SIF Banat - Crișana has agreed to sell approximately 3 ha of land at the site of the former Filan factory in the Pantelimon district of Bucharest to German retailers Kaufland and Lidl for about €12 million, profit.ro reports. This sum is 60% higher than what the fund paid for the property in 2019.

Romanian developer Țiriac Imobiliare has appointed Colliers International to obtain the WELL Health-Safety certification for a mixed portfolio of projects, being the first developer in Romania to do so.
