Geld Capital Management and its subsidiary, Repaco Capital, have delivered the Curtea de Argeș Retail Park, boasting a total leasable area of 6,100 sqm.

Traditional shopping centres and retail parks continue to attract visitors and remain popular destinations for shopping, socialising and entertainment. They are valued for their modern facilities, strong offerings and appealing promotions. But do customers prefer retail parks for grocery shopping? Where do they tend to purchase clothing or cosmetics? What is the demographic profile of shoppers? To answer these and many other questions, global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has conducted a survey, the findings of which are presented in its latest report. Cushman & Wakefield notes that despite evolving shopping trends, both retail formats continue to hold strong appeal. 

LCP Properties has acquired the Rock Park Radom, retail park from the seller Rock Capital. The property, with a total of 3,400 sqm of GLA and six tenants, is fully leased. The price has not been disclosed. Soon, the retail park will undergo LCP's rebranding program, officially becoming part of the M Park brand. This will be the second M Park in the city of Radom.

LCP Properties is strengthening its collaboration with Refield. This partnership was confirmed with the announcement of the project's acquisition in Zwoleń (eastern Poland) on the day of its official opening. The sale agreement was based on a model in which Refield was responsible for both the construction and commercialization of the property. Pasaż Zwoleński, now officially opened as M Park Zwoleń, offers nearly 5,000 sqm of GLA with eight tenants. The project boasts a 100% occupancy rate. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. 

Scallier opens in March a new retail park in Arad, taking its national network to seven projects under the Funshop Park brand.

In 2024, nearly 80,000 sqm of new, modernised, or expanded retail parks were completed in the Czech Republic, now totalling 1.3 million sqm of retail space, almost a third of the total retail space capacity on the market, reports Cushman & Wakefield.

New retail projects with a combined leasable area of around 180,000 sqm were completed in Romania during 2024, down by around 15% versus 2023, with retail parks accounting for the biggest share of deliveries, according to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. 

Przystanek Karkonosze, a retail park of 16,000 sqm GLA, is being built in Miłków, a suburb of Karpacz. The facility will be located on Karpacka Street at the intersection of roads leading to Karpacz, Kowary, Szklarska Poręba and Jelenia Góra, forming one of the most attractive retail destinations in the Karkonosze district.

Redkom Development opened Comfy Park Bielik, the largest retail park in Bielsko-Biała (southern Poland). Nearly thirty stores and service points have been built on more than 19,000 sqm of retail area, including a Kaufland store occupying more than 5,000 sqm.

BIG Poland’s portfolio is expanding with two new investments: Park Kujawia in Włocławek and Atut in Myszków. The total value of both transactions exceeds €56 million.
