Cordia International Zrt. has acquired UK developer Blackswan. Cordia financed the transaction by using funds collected from the bond issuance under National Bank of Hungary’s Bond Funding for Growth Scheme. The acquisition allows Blackswan to deliver a £550 million project pipeline across the West Midlands

Arad-based developer Wallberg has secured a €7.3 million loan from Garanti Bank for the construction of the second tower of the XCity Towers complex, the first residential tower in the city of Timișoara, a project worth €75 million which will total 955 apartments.

The first building of the Resi4Rent project, being part of the Warsaw Brewery, has obtained its occupancy permit. In the all-purpose part of Warsaw's Wola district, revitalized by Echo Investment, Resi4Rent has developed 450 apartments for long-term rent. The first tenants have been moving in.

Cordia International, the residential development platform of Futureal Group has successfully managed its second bond issuance on the Budapest Stock Exchange to finance its further expansion, predominantly in CEE. The developer raised HUF 36 billion (€105 million) in its latest transaction which was heavily oversubscribed by financial institutions and achieved a 2.46% yield. Last November Cordia successfully placed a HUF 44 billion (€305 million) 7-year bond at 3.82% yield.

Hochtief Polska has signed a contract for the execution of the nursing home Residence Saint Jadwiga at Pulaskiego/Traugutta in Wroclaw. The project is being carried out for Orpea Polska sp. z o.o. The construction works start in the near future and will take about 19 months.

Trei Real Estate GmbH increased its development volume to €960 million euros during H1 2020. This implies an increase by €60 million euros since year-end 2019 (€900 million). Compared to the prior-year figure (H1 2019: €730 million), the growth actually amounted to €230 million, which equals an increase by 31 percent year on year. A breakdown of the €960 million by type of use shows €175 million in the retail segment and €785 million in the residential segment.

Echo Investment has gained a building permit for the Bonarka Living residential estate in Kraków. The project is being developed in close proximity to the Bonarka City Center and an over two hectare nature reserve. The first apartments will be handed over to tenants at the turn of 2021 and 2022.

A new real estate project will be developed in the Northern Romanian city of Bistrița on the grounds of the old location of the largest Romanian construction materials manufacturer’s former factory, in partnership with local real estate developer Alfa Construct Partners. Within this partnership, TeraPlast offers the land and Alfa Construct will build the properties at its own expense.

A planning permit has been issued for Penta Real Estate’s The Residence Nuselský Pivovar development in Prague’s Nusle district. As part of the €77 million (CZK 2 billion) project, the developer will build 450 residential units on the site a historic brewery.

Speedwell has launched sales for the second phase of Triama Residence, the residential compound developed in Bucharest, so a new stock of apartments is now available. The developer is starting a new building, after selling more than 90% of the apartments built in the first phase, which will be delivered at the end of this year.
