Savills with ARAM to manage Bořislavka Centrum in Prague

Czech investment company REICO investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s. (REICO IS ČS) as of February has appointed Savills as property manager for its Prague office complex Bořislavka. Savills will work in cooperation with Active Retail Asset Management (ARAM) who will manage the retail scheme within the asset.

REICO acquires Prague's Bořislavka Centrum from KKCG

The Česká Spořitelna Real Estate Fund (Nemovitostní fond České spořitelny) is buying the Bořislavka Centrum shopping and office complex from KKCG Real Estate Group. With the acquisition, the fund has increased the number of buildings under its management to 21 and the value of its real estate portfolio exceeds CZK 38 billion, REICO announced in a press release. The parties didn't disclose the transaction price.

REICO acquires second part of Panattoni Park Tychy in Poland

ČS NEMOVITOSTNÍ FOND, managed by REICO investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s., is expanding its portfolio with the addition of the second phase of the Panattoni Park Tychy located between the Polish cities of Tychy and Bieruň, Poland. The total number of properties in the fund’s portfolio thus increased to 20, with the share of industrial properties in the fund’s portfolio reaching approximately 14%.

REICO acquires Panattoni Park Tychy DC1 in Poland

The ČS nemovitostní fond, managed by REICO, is acquiring Panattoni Park Tychy DC1 in Poland. The value of the acquisition is approximately CZK 1.1 billion (€42 million). This brings the number of properties owned by the fund to 19.

REICO launches new real estate fund

REICO has launched a new real estate fund. REICO ČS Long Lease is a special mutual fund focused mainly on retail clients. Its main investment criterion is buildings with leases secured for at least 10 years, in the logistics, manufacturing, retail and office sectors. The fund is intended as a complement to the investment portfolio mainly to conservative to medium-risk clients who want to increase the return of their real estate component.

PNK concludes sale of industrial buildings in Slovakia

PNK Group, an international industrial real estate developer, concluded the sale of two of its modern industrial buildings with a total area of 45,000 square meters in its industrial park near Bratislava. The facilities in PNK Park Sered’, providing a regional base for Polish fast-fashion conglomerate LPP and German-based manufacturer in automotive industry Wegu, were acquired by the REICO IS ČS on behalf of ČS nemovitostní fond, for €30.6 million.

New leases

  • Gemini Park Tarnów (southern Poland) is strengthening its offer with a new lifestyle clothing and footwear brand. The JD Sports store, with an area of over 400 sqm, will open to customers later this spring.
  • Lenovo and Motorola have opened their first showroom in the centre of Warsaw. The new showroom space was created on the ground floor of the Warszawa Hotel, in the historic Prudential building. Lenovo and Motorola took up an area of over 200 sqm on the ground floor of the building.
  • Catalyst Capital, the owner of Warsaw's Harmony Office Center, has signed an agreement under which premium flexible office operator The Shire—Beyond Coworking will lease approximately 1,400 sqm of space.

New appointments

  • Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its valuation team with the appointment of Marcin Malmon as Head of Valuation & Advisory and Monika Leszczyk, Deputy Head of Valuation & Advisory, as Head of Business Development.
  • The Valuation Department at consultancy Savills has strengthened its team. The new members are Karolina Sabatowska-Gomułka as Associate Director and Magdalena Ziółkowska as Consultant.
  • Bartosz Frąckowiak has become the new head of the CBRE office in Poznań (western Poland). He will be responsible for the integration of all CBRE business lines in the Wielkopolska region.
