The former bank atrium on the corner of Vysoká Street and 1st May Square in Bratislava has undergone an extensive transformation in recent months. The military boarding school Hviezda in Bratislava, also known as "Kukurica", has been dilapidated for many years. The iconic high-rise building from the 1970s has a distinctive architectural style yet is a local landmark. However, it may already be on the verge of being saved. The Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic (MoD) has started taking the first steps towards reconstruction, according to Slovak websites reality.trend.sk and yimba.sk.

The Czech patent and pins factory owned by Koh-i-Noor Waldes is moving out of Prague after 120 years. Due to the merge with Massag factory the company is heading to Bílovec now. The current owner Pražská správa nemovitostí (PSN) plans to transform the historical factory buildings in the Prague Vršovice complex into a multifunctional project with 550 modern apartments and shops, e15.cz reports.

Thirteen years after the fire in 2008, the large Industrial Palace in Prague has begun renovation. Its reconstruction began on 1 February this year and should be completed within three years. According to the Czech Press Agency, the cost of the reconstruction is expected to be CZK 2.64 billion. The reconstruction will be carried out by a consortium led by Metrostav, Prague's City Hall announced.

The former EuroCenter shopping centre, currently being rebuilt by Wing, will be renamed GOBUDA Mall after the renovation. The building will re-open in the spring of 2022 according to plans.

The interior of the Campona shopping centre in South Buda, owned by CPI Property Group,  will be completely rebuilt by the end of 2021.

Hungarian developer Wing is set to start renovation works on the EuroCenter shopping centre in Budapest in the spring of 2021 with reopening scheduled for the spring of 2022. In addition to the international fashion brands, the shopping centre will offer its future visitors a diverse range of services, a renovated cinema, culinary experiences and a roof garden.

Czech-Dutch investment company Fidurock has obtained a building permit for the reconstruction of an apartment building in Brno.
