Panattoni Europe embarks on the largest project in the Warsaw region. The new facility, A2 Warsaw Park, will total 102,500 sqm of space and will be located next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Junction and the A2 motorway. The first tenant has already been secured – Raben Logistics Polska, taking up 30 per cent of the space. Project completion is planned for Q1 of 2020.

Zeitgeist Asset Management, a company specializing in development services and asset management for private and institutional investors, purchased two properties in Kraków from Orange. One of them is a historic building at ul. Wielopole 2, where the seat of the Main Post Office is located, the second one is a partially built-up plot at ul. Cystersów 21.

LaSalle Investment Management Inc. has completed the purchase of Panattoni Warsaw West VI in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Experts from JLL advised the buyer in this deal.

In Q2 2019, developers operating on the six largest markets in Poland sold the total of 15,100 units, i.e. 8% less than in the previous quarter. The new supply in that period equalled 14,900 units – hence, the offer volume remained at the level of the previous quarter. The latest JLL’s report entitled “Residential Market in Poland Q2 2019” shows that prices of residential units are still growing, but at a much slower rate. This makes it possible for developers to maintain margins at a satisfactory level.

Eastern Poland continues to attract increasing interest from both Polish and overseas investors. Its cities, including Lublin, Białystok and Suwałki, are gaining favour with logistics and manufacturing firms planning to expand, according to Kamil Żach, Land Specialist, Industrial and Logistics Agency at Cushman & Wakefield.

Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of another facility for Amazon with more than 60,000 sqm of space. The logistics centre in Bolesławiec in Lower Silesia will receive products from sellers and suppliers, and then distribute them to Amazon’s e-commerce centres. The project was built in line with the guidelines for BREEAM certification and is already the seventh joint project between the two companies – in the space of five years the developer has delivered 745,500 sqm to the world’s largest online store.

Radisson Hotel Group announced an agreement with Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels group for two new-build Radisson resorts in Poland. The hotels span the country, from the foothills of the Karkonosze Mountains in Szklarska Poręba to the northern Baltic coast in Kołobrzeg. The hotels will be part of the upscale Radisson brand, bringing the group's portfolio in Poland to 18 properties across five brands – including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson.

Globalworth confirms the closing of the acquisition of two office buildings in Poland for a total transaction value of €113 million. Retro Office House in Wroclaw and Silesia Star in Katowice offer over 50,000 sqm of modern office space, and through the companies present in these properties add approximately 10,000 new employees and visitors to Globalworth’s Polish portfolio community, which is now 110,000 strong on a daily basis.

Parties to the largest lease transaction in the history of the Polish office sector included Golub GetHouse and Mennica Polska SA, investors in the Warsaw-based Mennica Legacy Tower and mBank, which ultimately leased 45,600 sqm of the investment. The building has been fully commercialised a few months before the completion of construction works.

Czech investor Zeitgeist Asset Management announced a new investment on the housing market in Poland. The planned residential asset at ul. Wrzesińska 2, will expand the company’s offer of rental housing. JLL experts advised the investor on the purchase of the property.
