Korean investor buys two logistics parks in Poland

Hines has advised Mirae Asset Global Investments, a Seoul-based investment manager that offers comprehensive investment services, on acquiring two logistics centres near Wrocław and Konin, with the total area of 163,135 square meters. MAGI acquired them from Blackstone by purchasing shares in special purpose vehicles which owned the investment and appointed Hines as the local asset manager of the portfolio throughout the investment horizon.

Panattoni builds for Carrefour in Central Poland

Panattoni Europe has laid the cornerstone for the largest logistics centre of Carrefour Poland in the country. It is going to be a BTS facility featuring in excess of 63,600 sqm. Strong take-up on Łódź’s office market

Łódź’s office market has been well-balanced in terms of demand and supply for several years. According to Cresa’s latest report, the office stock of the Łódź market has increased by nearly 8% year-on-year and amounted to 471,200 sqm at the end of Q1 2019. Take-up in the first quarter of 2019 reached 15,100 sqm, up more than 50% on the same period in 2018.

Immofinanz acquires Warsaw Spire Tower for €386 million

Immofinanz is acquiring the Warsaw Spire Tower Building in the Polish capital through the purchase of the respective property holding companies. This roughly 220 metre-high office tower has approximately 71,600 sqm of rentable space, with roughly 65,000 sqm representing offices and the remainder used primarily for retail purposes. The agreed property value for the office tower amounts to approximately €386.0 million. The expected annual rental income based on invoiced rents totals roughly €19.6 million. The sellers are Ghelamco Group, which completed the tower in 2016, and Madison International Realty, a global Real Estate Private Equity Firm.

Companies in Krakow are moving closer to the centre

According to “Occupier Economics: Office Market in Krakow Q1 2019”, a report published by m Cresa, the capital city of Lesser Poland continues to attract tenants and this trend is likely to carry on into the near future given the economic and cultural potential.

New leases

  • iLogic, an official distributor of Delphi Tools, has leased 3,400 sqm of modern space at MLP Wrocław. This transaction completes the commercialisation of the 66,000 sqm warehouse complex. BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland supported the tenant during the negotiation and lease agreement process.
  • The Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection has leased 4,600 sqm of office space in the refurbished HOP building, part of the Syrena Real Estate portfolio, in Warsaw. The company has been operating from its new address since January 2026.
  • Bel-Pol, a leading provider of flooring and doors, has leased more than 5,600 sqm of logistics and office space at Panattoni Park Warsaw North III. Axi Immo provided comprehensive tenant representation throughout the process.

New appointments

  • NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
