Tri-City office stock to reach one million sqm by 2021

Tri-City continues to attract investments and the three cities' office sector continues to expand. The uniqueness of the Tri-City market is underpinned by the fact that the largest office complex in Poland is located here. What's more, Poland's first office park to be located within an airport is planned for Gdańsk, while Gdynia will offer unique office space situated on the waterfront. According to last year's JLL estimates, in 2021 Tri-City will be the third-largest regional market with office supply exceeding one million sqm.

Globalworth completes delisting from Warsaw Stock Exchange

Globalworth confirmed the completion of the delisting of its Polish subsidiary, Globalworth Poland Real Estate N.V. from the Warsaw Stock Exchange with effect from 29 September 2019.  With the company's shareholding in GPRE having reached 99.92%, the remaining shares in GPRE will now be acquired through a mandatory acquisition, thereby completing this process.

Panattoni Europe expands in Toruń

Panattoni Europe expands its portfolio in the Kuyavia-Pomerania region. The cornerstone has been laid under Panattoni Park Toruń II with planned space of 57,500 sqm. The two-building complex is being built in the north-eastern part of Toruń and has already secured its first tenant – a logistics operator, set to take up 5,000 sqm. Radisson Hotel Group signs new resort in Poland

Radisson Hotel Group announced an agreement with Polish hotel investor Europlan for a new Radisson Blu resort in Poland. Located in Mazury Lakes, the Radisson Blu Resort, Ostroda Mazury Lakes will have its own marina and water park. The new property brings the group´s portfolio in Poland to 19 properties across five brands – including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson – and will strengthen the group´s position as the largest international operator for leisure destinations in Poland.

Hines Global acquires second logistics facility in Poland

Pre-leases drive Kraków’s office market

Kraków is continuing its good run as Poland's second largest office market. During the first six months, lease contracts for nearly 135,000 sqm were signed in Kraków which equates to 44% of demand for modern office space outside Warsaw. The most notable transactions in H1 2019 signed both in Kraków and in the largest regional markets in Poland were a record pre-let by UBS for 19,600 sqm in Fabryczna Office Park, a pre-let by Sabre for almost 16,000 sqm in the Tischnera Office, and an 11,200 sqm renewal by Akamai in the Vinci Office Building.

New leases

  • Revetas Capital has secured a new lease agreement in Bonarka for Business (B4B) with EFL, a Polish leasing company. EFL, part of the Credit Agricole Group, will occupy 450 sqm of office space in Building D of the B4B office complex.
  • Lefties will open a new store spanning 3,000 sqm as part of the extension of Iulius Mall Suceava. Stradivarius will also open a new store in the shopping mall. Both stores, part of the Inditex group, will open in the first half of 2025.
  • Getinge, a global provider of innovative solutions for medicine, has leased over 1,900 sqm in Kraków-based office complex Enterprise Park. The company will open a shared services centre in the leased offices. The tenant was represented by CBRE in the negotiation process.

New appointments

  • Carmen Ravon will be the new Head of Retail for CEE at CBRE starting February 1st. With over 17 years in retail real estate, she has worked with top international brands and provided valuable portfolio optimization and leasing advice.
  • Katarzyna Kopszak-Dziurnikowska, the organisation's former Chief Investment Officer, has joined the board of Apsys Polska. She started work in her new position on 1st of January, 2025.
  • Małgorzata Głowicka has joined Ceres as Chief Financial Officer responsible for Central and Eastern European markets. The company provides services in the areas of property management, project commercialisation, construction, redevelopment, modernisation and repositioning of properties.
