Construction works have already started at MDC² Gliwice Park. The facility will consist of three buildings with a total area of over 57,000 sqm, located on a plot of 13.4 hectares. The first of the three buildings is scheduled to be commissioned at the turn of July and August 2023, and the opening of the other two at the turn of September and October 2023. The first tenants will move into the park in the third quarter of this year.

White Stone Development has sold the Celebro office building to Lithuanian investor Eika Real Estate Fund, represented by its management company Eika Asset Management. Celebro is a class A office building located in Warsaw at 22 Gładka Street, offering ca. 7,200 sqm GLA. It was designed by the architectural studio Kuryłowicz & Associates. Built in 2019, it has a BREEAM New Construction Very Good certificate. The price has not been disclosed.

Take-up hits its second-highest on record as new supply sets an all-time high – that’s the story of the Polish industrial market in 2022 in a nutshell. According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, development activity is expected to be more muted in the coming months, with the market entering a phase of stability. 

The company’s new business line operates under the Habitu brand and the first property from the PRS sector in the company’s portfolio located in Warsaw was fully leased in two months. The company has announced intensive development of Habitu mainly in the capital city but also in other Polish cities. Syrena plans to offer three thousand units on its PRS platform within five years.

Polish warehouse developer 7R has appoin­ted Michał Białas as a Member of the Management Board. Michał Białas will continue to develop the company, expand the real estate portfolio, and support leasing.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, 2022 witnessed a recovery in commercial real estate investment activity in CEE, with the year closing marginally up compared to the previous year. Total investment volumes in Central and Eastern Europe came in at €10.7 billion, up by 6.6% year-on-year. With more than €5.7 billion worth of deals, Poland continued to lead the way across the region.

Panattoni has sold its strategic Wroclaw Campus project in southwest Poland to P3 Logistic Parks. The project totals 185,000 sqm. The price has not been disclosed.

Despite the lack of significant changes in credit availability, high inflation and rising prices, residential property sales in the last quarter of 2022 bettered the previous quarter’s performance. Sales growth was recorded in each of the six major markets with an average q-o-q of 29%, says JLL advisory agency. 

Panattoni has received an "Outstanding" rating under the BREEAM International New Construction system for Panattoni Park Szczecin III (halls A and B). This is the first such high level of certification in the industrial real estate market in Poland for a newly built investment. Its implementation was preceded by detailed life-cycle cost (LCC) and life-cycle analysis (LCA) of the facility for a period of 60 years. During construction, energy and water consumption were carefully monitored, harmful CO2 emissions were minimized, and thermal imaging was performed upon completion. The halls have been adapted to climate change and a possible change of use in the future. The project is located just 500 meters from public transportation and is accessible to people with disabilities.
