PINK has published figures on the office market in Warsaw for Q4 2022. The data is sourced from advisory companies from the commercial real estate sector (BNP Paribas Real Estate, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman&Wakefield, JLL, Knight Frank, Newmark, Savills) and includes information on modern office stock, new completions, take-up volumes and vacancy rates.

Savills has advised AT Capital Group on the acquisition of the development plot at the junction of Grzybowska and Żelazna streets in Warsaw for the planned 140-metre-high Liberty Tower.

As the European Union has proposed the move towards zero-emission buildings by 2030, a significant portion of the energy consumption of these projects should be covered by energy from renewable sources. This includes renewable energy produced on-site or nearby so property companies are starting to invest in such facilities in a bid to lower operating costs and meet targets under their ESG agendas. The investments in such capacities have been boosted by the high energy price environment and the need of property companies to enhance the security of power supplies.

FLE SICAV FIS, managed by FLE GmbH, has acquired from DWS its fifth office property in Poland – the Kopernik Office Buildings in Warsaw. Knight Frank advised the buyer and Colliers represented the seller. The price remains confidential.

Bridgeston and ESA logistika have opened a 50,000 sqm tyre warehouse where tyres will be shipped for further distribution. The facility is located at at Panattoni Park Poznań East Gate.

In late 2022, NREP made 116 fully furnished and equipped apartments available for rent at Kłobucka Street in Warsaw. It is NREP’s first completed residential investment in Poland. The first tenants moved in at the beginning of December, and the building is now nearly fully leased.

Focus Estate Fund is expanding its operations in Poland with the acquisition of Ferio Legnica (a shopping centre in the city of Legnica in southwestern Poland) from Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International. CBRE represented the seller in the transaction. Czabański & Gałuszyński together with Gleeds and KKLW advised the buyer. The price has not been disclosed.

Panattoni is supporting the upcycling of the machinery used to generate green energy. In 15 of the developer’s locations, environmentally-friendly outdoor furniture can be found, made from former wind turbines. In 2023, similar furniture is to appear in another 100 locations.

Panattoni has finalised another built-to-suit development in the Lubusz region. The Vita Group – Europe’s largest supplier and producer of polyurethane foam – will start using 8,000 sqm of space in Panattoni Park Żary in the second quarter of 2023. 

GLP has completed the development of another logistics park near Warsaw. The 24,000 sqm GLP Warsaw V Logistics Centre is located next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Junction of Motorway A2. The logistics company No Limit will be its sole tenant.
