Globalworth internalises PM of Polish assets

Globalworth Poland has taken further steps to manage its Polish real estate portfolio in-house. Between December and January, the company took on the property management of Lumen and Skylight in Warsaw, West Gate in Wrocław, the A4 Business Park in Katowice and Tryton Business House in Gdańsk. Since the company entered the market, Globalworth has gradually internalized the property management of a series of buildings and now handles directly 250,000 sqm in only about one year, which constitutes almost 60% of its portfolio in Poland.

Revetas sells Prauge office building to local fund

Conseq Group’s Conseq Realitní investment fund has bought the A7 Office Center in Prague from Revetas. The purchase price has not been disclosed. The 16,000 sqm building is located in the Czech capital’s Holešovice district. The list of tenants includes Czech News Center, Ahold Czech Republic, DM Drugerie and Megapixel.

Zeus buys Warsaw office building from Hines

Hines and Zeus Capital Management announced the completion of the sale and purchase of the Graffit building in Warsaw. The property owned by Hines Russia & Poland Fund (HRPF) was sold to TAN Poland Sp. z o.o., a company managed by Zeus Capital Management. This is Zeus’ first investment in Poland and it is part of its commercial real estate platform dedicated to Central and South East Europe.

Lower levels of new supply on Warsaw’s office market

At the end of 2018, Warsaw’s total office stock stood at 5.46 million sqm. Despite last year’s supply gap, which is expected to carry into 2019, new supply totalled 232,700 sqm delivered across 20 office projects, down by 70,000 sqm on the five-year average for 2012–2017. Globalworth gets two Bucharest buildings certified

Tower 1 and Tower 2, the first two office buildings of the Globalworth Campus project in Bucharest, have been awarded BREEAM certificates with a rating of 'Excellent'. Brussels-based developer launches Budapest project

Codic International, a Brussels-based developer, announced that construction has commenced on the office component of Green Court, their latest mixed-use development to be realized in partnership with the Hungarian Pesti Házak and the Austrian Venta Group. The project is located in Budapest on the Váci office corridor. The project incorporates Green Court Office, a 21,000 sqm GLA premium office development, and Green Court Residence, comprising two residential buildings with 275 apartments. The apartments will be occupied by the end of this year, and the office project is scheduled to be handed over in Q4 2020. Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle have been appointed co-exclusive leasing agents for the office development.

New leases

  • NN is relocating its offices to One Cotroceni Park in Bucharest. The company has leased 2,300 sqm in a deal brokered by Knight Frank.
  • Raben Logistics has leased 3,500 sqm in ELI Park Bacău in a bid to streamline its distribution operations in Romania.
  • The largest salon of the Ochnik brand in the Podkarpacie region of Poland was opened in the Plaza Rzeszów Shopping Centre. The store occupies an area of over 430 sqm.

New appointments

  • At the beginning of the year, Roberto Mateos, an experienced hotelier who has been with the Barceló Hotel Group for almost two decades, took over as general manager of the Barceló Warsaw Powiśle hotel.
  • Axi Immo is strengthening its organisational structure by appointing Danuta Dzierżak as Business Development Director. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing all business lines, acquiring new clients, and building relationships with key business partners in Poland and abroad.
  • Avison Young has announced several promotions within its Poland operations. In the Valuation and Advisory department, Agnieszka Bogucka and Marta Marat have both been promoted to Senior Valuer. In the Investment Advisory department, Artur Czuba has been promoted to Director. The Office Agency department has promoted Filip Filipowicz to Senior Consultant. In the Technical Advisory department, Kamil Olechniewicz has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. Additionally, Renata Zielińska took the position of Senior Consultant in the Investment department.
