Panattoni to deliver 105,000 sqm project for DHL in Poznań

Panattoni has completed the shell stage of another huge commission for the e-commerce sector. In Żerniki near Poznań, the developer is building a BTS facility with an area of 105,000 sqm for DHL Supply Chain. The latter company will use the space to carry out the logistics operations, among others, for Zalando required for distribution to several European markets – including Poland and Germany.

Construction volume of Czech industrial market reaches all-time high

According to Savills, the development pipeline for the Czech industrial market reached the highest level in history in Q1 2021. There were 47 industrial buildings in various stages of construction with a total rentable area of 734,200 sqm across the country. Fiege leases 11,000 sqm in Pannattoni Park Gorzów Wielkopolski

Panattoni is expanding Panattoni Park Gorzów, where it has recently secured another tenant. Global logistics operator Fiege has leased 11,000 sqm in the park, which the company will use for the logistics operations of a client from the production sector. Panattoni Park Gorzów should be completed in November this year when it will comprise almost 70,000 sqm. The entire park is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Very Good’ level.

W&L to deliver four warehouse buildings in Sofia

Developer Warehousing & Logistics EOOD (W&L) has begun the construction of the newest industrial park in Bulgaria, called Logistics Park Sofia (LPS). The park is located about 8 km from the capital Sofia. W&L is planning to build 4 warehouse buildings in the complex which will span more than 116,000 sqm of industrial and office space that will be available to potential tenants. So far this is the first Bulgarian logistics park with such a high concentration of industrial space.

Infogroup completes successful bond issue

Hungarian developer Infogroup has closed a successful bond issue as part of the National Bank of Hungary's (MNB) Bond Funding for Growth Scheme. BIK Group expands warehouse centre near Wrocław

Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych started the second stage of development of the BIK Park Wrocław logistics park. The project will provide approx. 22,500 square meters of warehouse space. Consequently, the surface area of the entire complex will reach the target level of approx. 47,500 square meters. The construction works are planned to be completed by the end of this year.

New leases

  • The Unisono chain has joined the ranks of tenants at Designer Outlet Sosnowiec (southern Poland). The women's clothing brand will occupy 115 sq m of space in the facility.
  • Borg Automotive Group will move into new premises at HI Piotrkowska office building in Łódź in February 2025. It will occupy approximately 300 sqm. Brookfield Partners supported the tenant in the negotiation process.
  • TK Maxx shop will be opened at Ferio Konin (central Poland). The brand will occupy 2,000 sqm of space in the extended part of the shopping centre.

New appointments

  • Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska has resigned from her position as a member of the Supervisory Board and chair of the Audit Committee of Ghelamco Invest. The position of member of Ghelamco's Supervisory Board will be filled by Lidia Jabłonowska-Luby. An existing member of the Audit Committee, Jarosław Myjak, was also appointed to act as chairman of the Audit Committee.
  • MLP Group is from now on working with a smaller board of directors. Monika Dobosz has resigned from her position. She had served on the company's board since July 2022, when she was appointed to the board together with Agnieszka Góźdź.
  • After almost eight years at the helm of Savills IM's Polish office, Piotr Trzcinski is leaving the firm. He joined Savills IM in 2017.
