Goodman builds logistics centre in Western Poland

Goodman has begun construction of a modern warehouse of over 32,000 sqm for BMW Group in Świecko, Poland. The facility will be a logistics centre for replacement parts to serve the Polish and East German market. Penny Market opens logistics centre in Western Hungary

German discount supermarket chain Penny Market opened a logistics centre in Veszprém, Western Hungary, following a nearly €30 million (HUF 9 billion) investment. The facility offers 26,500 sqm of warehouse space on a 10 ha land. The new warehouse can hold 15,000 pallets.

SPDI to acquire part of Romanian logistics portfolio

Secure Property Development and Investment PLC, an SEE-focused property and investment company, announced the proposed acquisition of up to a 50% interest in a portfolio of fully let logistics properties in Romania. The so-called Olympians Portfolio comprises assets in Bucharest, Timisoara and Brasov. The gross asset value of the 100,000 sqm portfolio is approximately €50 million and there is a senior loan liability of approximately €30 million secured against the portfolio.

CTP acquires Bucharest logistics park for €17 million

CTP continues its accelerated growth by acquiring Chitila Logistic Park, near Buchares, Romania. The transaction was concluded in September and the value of the investment reaches €17.3 million. CLP has been purchased from UBM Development. This acquisition is part of CTP’s strategy of reaching a total leasable area of approximately 1 million sqm in Romania by the end of 2018.

Zacaria Group to build industrial park in Craiova

New leases

  • JD Group-owned brands JD Sports and Sizeer are strengthening their presence in EPP-managed shopping centres. The group's latest agreements and extensions covered a total of nearly 1.7 thousand sqm - in Kalisz's Galeria Amber, Kielce's Galeria Echo and Szczecin's Galaxy.
  • Poznan's Galeria Panorama, which the Balmain Group is commercialising, has expanded its portfolio with the addition of an Action brand store, a Dutch non-food discount chain. The Action store has taken over 1,000 sqm of space.
  • BWF Poland, a manufacturer of textile filter materials and plastic products, has leased 2,400 sqm of warehouse and office space at the Silesian Logistics Centre BIK Sosnowiec III (southern Poland).

New appointments

  • Marcin Janik has taken up the position of head of the southern Poland region at CBRE. He will be responsible for Silesia, Małopolska and the previously serviced Wrocław.
  • GTC Group has appointed Miklos Egri as Chief Operating Officer. The new manager will be responsible for the company's day-to-day operational and administrative management in the Central and Eastern European markets.
  • Paulina Petynka has joined the team of Yareal Polska, taking on the position of Leasing Director. She has more than 20 years of professional experience.
