Stage Capital has sold a 151,000 sqm portfolio of Czech logistics assets to CBRE Global Investors for €125 million. The portfolio includes four standing assets and development land with planning permission for one more asset.

Goodman has begun construction of a modern warehouse of over 32,000 sqm for BMW Group in Świecko, Poland. The facility will be a logistics centre for replacement parts to serve the Polish and East German market. It will be Goodman’s first development for BMW Group in Poland, and its fourth project for the automotive giant in Continental Europe.

Polish developer MLP Group will build a new logistics park in Romania. The development project will be executed near Bucharest on an 18.8 ha plot of land. The target total area of this complex of facilities will be approx. 80,000 square meters of modern warehousing space.

Demand on Romania's industrial and logistics market reached 456,000 square meters in the first nine months of 2017, close to the level recorded for the whole last year when it cumulated 463,000 square meters, according to JLL:

German discount supermarket chain Penny Market opened a logistics centre in Veszprém, Western Hungary, following a nearly €30 million (HUF 9 billion) investment. The facility offers 26,500 sqm of warehouse space on a 10 ha land. The new warehouse can hold 15,000 pallets.

Secure Property Development and Investment PLC, an SEE-focused property and investment company, announced the proposed acquisition of up to a 50% interest in a portfolio of fully let logistics properties in Romania. The so-called Olympians Portfolio comprises assets in Bucharest, Timisoara and Brasov. The gross asset value of the 100,000 sqm portfolio is approximately €50 million and there is a senior loan liability of approximately €30 million secured against the portfolio.

CTP continues its accelerated growth by acquiring Chitila Logistic Park, near Buchares, Romania. The transaction was concluded in September and the value of the investment reaches €17.3 million. CLP has been purchased from UBM Development. This acquisition is part of CTP’s strategy of reaching a total leasable area of approximately 1 million sqm in Romania by the end of 2018.

Prologis announced the sale of Prologis Park Galanta-Gan in Slovakia to CNIC Corporation Limited, an investment company wholly-owned by the Government of the People's Republic of China. The park is the largest logistics asset, both by area and investment volume, ever sold in the CEE region.

The construction works on the new business park in Craiova are ongoing and the first 10,000 sqm of industrial space will be delivered by the end of the year, Romanian real estate developer Zacaria announced. Southern Industrial Park will comprise 43,000 sqm of Class A industrial space, fully equipped for activities such as storage, logistics, cross-docking or manufacturing.

CTP will invest €15 million in developing a new logistics park near Cluj-Napoca, Romania. CTPark Cluj II will be located in Floresti, Cluj County and will have a total leasable area of 29,000 sqm.
