Repaco Capital kicks off retail park development near Bucharest

Repaco Capital has started the construction of Crevedia Retail Park that will be completed in H2 2024 near Bucharest following an investment of €15 million. The project has a leasable area of 12,000 sqm and has already reached an occupancy rate of 80%.

Vastint Romania has secured a new lease with ÖBB Rail Cargo Group, for approximately 600 sqm of office space, in C building of Business Garden Bucharest.
Preston Packaging will soon commence operations at the MLP Poznań West logistics center (western Poland). The company has secured approximately 7,500 sqm of space, which will be available in the second half of this year. Axi Immo supported the leasing process.
Join UP! travel agency will open its first point in Poland in Galeria Północna (Warsaw). The brand has Ukrainian roots and operates in nine countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

New appointments

Tomasz Michalczyk has taken on the Head of Office Agency role at Axi Immo advisory agency. He will manage the team, acquire and advise key clients on the office market.
Hungarian construction player Óbuda Group has announced the appointment of two new Deputy CEOs. Gábor Horváth will lead the project management division, while Ottó Vörös will oversee operations. Horváth brings 35 years of experience in the construction industry, while Vörös has over two decades of management and financial experience in real estate management.
Atakan Turhan has been appointed as General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel and Park Inn by Radisson in Bucharest. Turhan brings over 30 years of hospitality experience, including 20 years with Radisson Hotel Group.
