GLP announced that its fourth logistics project in Mazovia has been completed. Totalling 35,500 sqm, the latest building – GLP Warsaw III Logistics Centre – is located just beyond the eastern boundary of Warsaw, next to the Kobyłka Junction of Expressway S8, offering an alternative to city warehouses.

GLP has leased all the premises of the first phase of the newly built GLP Park Ostrava Hrušov complex. The first tenants include Prosperplast, Logflex and Hyundai Steel Czech. They are expected to move into the premises during the spring. The expensively revitalised site of the former chemical plant is thus coming to life and will gradually offer more than a hundred skilled jobs, says the company on their website.  

GLP has launched the development of two new warehousing projects in Poland: the third phase of construction at Poznań Airport Logistics Centre and the first building of Warsaw V Logistics Centre.

The warehouse will be built as a part of GLP Park Lędziny in Silesia and used as a regular distribution depot for Maspex Group’s beverage division. Omega Pilzno will handle warehouse logistics and transport as part of the tender. AXI IMMO brokered the transaction.

GLP has closed an acquisition contract for a 22.3-hectare plot in Szigetszentmiklós, next to its existing Sziget Logistics Centre near Budapest, the larger part of which has already been let to Fiege Group. GLP has simultaneously obtained an occupancy permit for the first building, while two further units are under construction. The two phases of the project will comprise more than 150,000 sqm of prime warehouse space.

GLP has commenced the development of GLP Wrocław V Logistics Centre, the largest warehouse project underway in the Wrocław metropolitan area. Built on a 50 ha plot, the GLP project will ultimately offer approximately 240,000 sqm of logistics space.

GLP has leased a 43,000 sqm unit at Sziget Logistics Centre to Fiege Group, a leading European logistics company that specialises in efficient supply chain solutions.

GLP closed the acquisition of Goodman Group’s CEE portfolio less than a year ago. With the integration complete, the company is developing a number of large-scale projects. Błażej Ciesielczak, the CEO of GLP Central and Eastern Europe talked to Property Forum about the growth of the logistics market and shared the company’s expansion strategy for the region.

GLP has leased 20,000 sqm of logistics space across two logistics parks in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company is developing further GLP Parks in Ostrava and Brno, with an additional two developments in the pipeline for next year.
