Turawa Park shopping centre near Opole (southern Poland), owned by Focus Estate Fund since 2022, is steadily focusing on development and modernisation to meet the expectations of both customers and tenants. Focus Estate Fund has finalized the purchase of the Galeria Sandecja shopping centre in Nowy Sącz, Poland. With a total area (GLA) of 17,650 sqm, this is the seventh investment for the fund in the Polish retail sector. The seller of the property, TK Development was represented by Colliers International, while the buy side was backed by Czabański & Gałuszyński, Gleeds and KKLW. The price has not been disclosed. 

The Turawa Park shopping centre near Opole, Poland has received a building permit to proceed with the expansion. The upcoming stage of this project will incorporate an extra 10,000 square meters, expanding the total retail area of the shopping centre to 36,000 square meters.

Focus Estate Fund plans to convert its entire shopping centre portfolio to solar-powered facilities. The first initiative was inaugurated with the installation of solar panels at Galeria Awangarda in Bartoszyce.

Focus Estate Fund is expanding its operations in Poland with the acquisition of Ferio Legnica (a shopping centre in the city of Legnica in southwestern Poland) from Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International. CBRE represented the seller in the transaction. Czabański & Gałuszyński together with Gleeds and KKLW advised the buyer. The price has not been disclosed.

Focus Estate Fund has closed the transaction on the acquisition of the Atrium Mosty shopping centre in Płock (Poland). The total area of the centre (GLA) is 18,000 sqm. The price has not been disclosed.

More than ten thousand Ukrainian refugees have already applied for help at the Temporary Support Centre for Refugees (TOWU) in Turawa Park  (Opole, Poland). Just a few days ago TOWU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Polish branch of the Red Cross.
