A total of 11,304 residential properties were sold in Hungary in August 2021, real estate group Duna House said in its monthly Transaction Estimate. While this is below the monthly average of the February-June period, the January-August total is higher than the 2020 or 2019 figure.

Duna House has released its monthly Transaction Estimate and mortgage forecast, showing that there were 11,185 residential property transactions in Hungary in July, 15% fewer than a year earlier.

A total of 14,193 residential properties were sold in Hungary in May, real estate group Duna House said in its monthly Transaction Estimate. This marks the strongest May in the market for the past couple of years as the figure was 5% higher than in May 2019.

Real estate group Duna House estimates the number of residential property deals completed in Hungary to have reached 13,511 in April 2021. Although this is a slight decrease compared to the pre-pandemic peak in the same month of 2019, overall it is still the third strongest April in the last ten years.

Publicly traded Hungarian real estate brokerage firm Duna House has released its metrics for the first quarter. It now appears that the record was short-lived as there were 15,630 residential property deals nationwide in March according to the latest monthly transaction estimate of real estate group Duna House. The figure is more than 1,000 higher than in February.
