Czech UDI Group to build 2300 flats in Belgrade

UDI Group, an international development group with Czech roots, is planning a massive construction in Belgrade, Serbia. It plans to build the Duga project with 2,320 apartments and 40,000 sqm of offices on the site of a former factory for almost €392 million. Construction is expected to start next year, UDI Group reported.

Logport and Invesco to build last-mile logistics park near Prague

Logport Development and Invesco Real Estate have teamed up and, via a forward funding structure, committed to developing a 37,900 sqm Grade A last-mile logistics facility, Logport Prague West, strategically located adjacent to the Prague ring road. The transaction was mediated by Cushman & Wakefield. Logport Prague West, where construction started in September 2022, has already attracted the first tenants to move in during the summer of 2023. The entire commercial zone is scheduled for completion in Q1 2024.

Pedro Construct to invest €20 million in Jolie Village near Bucharest

Pedro Construct, one of the largest construction companies in Romania, led by businessman Petre Niculae, is developing - together with his associate Florin Ababe - a new residential assembly in the north of the capital, Jolie Village. The investment in the project is estimated at €21 million and for €12 million, the company has obtained financing through Libra Bank.

PSN to build 150 lofts in a former factory in Prague 4

Another residential project worth more than a billion crowns (€41 million) is being completed in Prague. This time PSN is building 150 luxury lofts in the former Microna aerospace factory in Prague's Modřany district. The Vanguard project is expected to be completed next year, PSN CEO Max Skala said.

Skanska to build apartments in Prague 9 for €41 million

Skanska is now planning to invest more than CZK 1 billion (€41 million) in the Alfred apartment building there. New leases

  • The Unisono chain has joined the ranks of tenants at Designer Outlet Sosnowiec (southern Poland). The women's clothing brand will occupy 115 sq m of space in the facility.
  • Borg Automotive Group will move into new premises at HI Piotrkowska office building in Łódź in February 2025. It will occupy approximately 300 sqm. Brookfield Partners supported the tenant in the negotiation process.
  • TK Maxx shop will be opened at Ferio Konin (central Poland). The brand will occupy 2,000 sqm of space in the extended part of the shopping centre.

New appointments

  • Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska has resigned from her position as a member of the Supervisory Board and chair of the Audit Committee of Ghelamco Invest. The position of member of Ghelamco's Supervisory Board will be filled by Lidia Jabłonowska-Luby. An existing member of the Audit Committee, Jarosław Myjak, was also appointed to act as chairman of the Audit Committee.
  • MLP Group is from now on working with a smaller board of directors. Monika Dobosz has resigned from her position. She had served on the company's board since July 2022, when she was appointed to the board together with Agnieszka Góźdź.
  • After almost eight years at the helm of Savills IM's Polish office, Piotr Trzcinski is leaving the firm. He joined Savills IM in 2017.
