Polish investment market to come back to life in the coming year

In 6-12 months, investors will return to the real estate market in Poland. The desirable assets will be data centres and products of the living sector, including PRS and PBSA - these were the conclusions reached by the participants of the panel on collaborative and alternative investment strategies at this week’s CEE Property Financing Update 2024 conference in Warsaw. The event was organised by Property Forum and hosted by law firm CMS.

New leases

  • The 82nd café of the Green Caffè Nero chain has opened in the Diuna office complex in Warsaw's Służewiec district. The restaurant occupies 200 sqm of space on the ground floor of one of the complex's four buildings.
  • German chain Woolworth has signed a lease agreement for nearly 1,000 sqm in Galeria Słoneczna in Radom (central Poland). The chain's new store will open in December.
  • KBZ Żuradzki Barczyk & Wspólnicy Adwokaci i Radcy Prawni, a law firm, has joined the tenants of Global Office Park in Katowice. The company will occupy 400 sqm of space in tower A1.

New appointments

  • Magdalena Frąckowiak has become a new member of GTC's Supervisory Board, replacing Sławomir Niemierka. She is an attorney-at-law with more than 15 years of professional experience in legal advice in commercial, corporate, M&A and financing matters.
  • Julita Kubalska was promoted to Head of Leasing Retail at GTC in Poland and will be responsible for the commercialization of Galeria Północna and Galeria Jurajska. She is a manager with more than 18 years of experience in the retail and commercial real estate industry, having experience on both the tenant and shopping centre side. She has been with GTC since 2022.
  • Paweł Zieliński has joined the Office Agency team of Avison Young as a Senior Consultant. With years of experience in the office leasing market, he has worked with companies like Dom Development, Nuvalu, and most recently, CPI Property Group.
