Regional office markets in Poland have a lot of work ahead

The first quarter of the year was another very demanding time for the regional office markets. They have been confronted with exactly the same challenges as Warsaw’s office market – increasing maintenance costs, higher rents’ perspective, more expensive and longer fit-outs as well as delayed construction processes. The future boon may be the emigration of Russian specialists from high-skilled technology industries, including IT, who fill in the talent pool in the regional cities, which are hubs for the IT Products and Services sector.

New leases

International IT company SoftServe has extended its lease agreement in Wrocław's Cu Office complex. The IT specialists occupy over 4,200 sqm of space in Building B.
Jysk will open its shop in the Nowe Glinki retail park in Bydgoszcz (nothern Poland). The chain will lease over 1,300 sqm of space.
The Industrial department at Savills Poland has expanded with the addition of three experienced experts: Karolina Galas (Associate Director), Bartosz Borowski (Land Acquisition Manager) and Marta Buba (Industrial Transaction Coordinator).

New appointments

Tomasz Chojnacki has taken up the position of Deputy Head of the Office Department of CBRE Poland. In his new role, he is responsible for the management and development of the office sector and the development of a coherent business plan for all services for clients in this market segment.
Mantor E2K, a company specialized in industrial and logistics constructions, has appointed Radu Vlad as its Business Development Manager. He brings over 20 years of experience in industrial and real estate project development to the role, having coordinated projects with a combined value exceeding €180 million.
At the beginning of February, Michał Chodecki became the head of the Warehouse & Logistics department of Savills Poland. The new director is responsible for the strategy and direction-setting of this business line and building relationships with key clients.
